I have to change a report to bring down its size.
We have a report in the production that is generating two different records:
- Main report giving the summary of reg count, license count and total of both made till date in a single table
- A sub report giving reg count, license count and total made each day till now. (Ex: 12312011, 12302011, etc etc for last one year)
Now, because of transactions done on each day the report is getting bigger and bigger and I want to bring the size down.
So, here is my requirement and I will appreciate if you can help me in this:
- Summary report of all the transaction done till date(No need to change as its already there)
[b]2. All the transaction done in previous months (Ex Dec, Nov, Oct…) - All the transactions done daily this month.(jan13, jan12…Jan1)[/b]
Universe has only one table with: location, loc desc, date, time, trans id, trans type: as columns
Suggestion please ???
