Will there be a Crystal forum on BOB?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but . . . are there plans to have a Crystal Reports forum on BOB? I’m presently working for a company that uses both BusObj and Crystal (and I’ll be working heavily with both) and it’d be nice to have the BOB brains available for both products.

The members of the moderator team have been discussing the idea. The general consensus is “not yet”, but we’re not ruling it out for the future. There are a number of different ideas that have been considered…

  1. Have a new URL, such as crystal.forumtopics.com, in order to keep the forums somewhat distinct
  2. Have Crystal products listed in the product forums right here on BOB
  3. Do nothing, and allow some of the other existing resources (tek-tips.com and so on) continue their support of the Crystal line of products

There may be other considerations as well. :slight_smile: At the moment there are no plans, only discussion.

I’m going to move this to the General Discussion area and see what other folks think. Thanks for your question.
