The above problem solved …

Resolution
Add “C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64” to the PATH environment variables on the SAP Business Objects Enterprise machine

Restart SIA where Dashboard Design Processing Server is registered

Hi,

I had the problem yesterday and I solved it, but I don’t know exactly how :stuck_out_tongue:

  • I’ve added …\win64_x64 (as suggested bby adilsami) and …\win64_x64\jdk\bin to the PATH of Windows.

  • With regedit, I have erased the content of the NLS_LANG key in 3 places:

    • on the server in HKLM/Software/Oracle/Oracle11g_home1/NLS_LANG
    • on my XP developement computer in HKLM/Software/Oracle/Oracle11g_home1/NLS_LANG
    • on the server in HKLM/Software/WOW6432/Node/Oracle/Oracle11g_home1/NLS_LANG

All of this did not work at once, but it does now after a reboot of the BO server and a reboot of my computer. No time to do more testing.

If someone can isolate precisely the cause, I’m interested.

By the way, we’re all using Oracle, are we?

I have the same problem trying to query a unx universe with mono-source on an Oracle 11 connection.
But that works fine when querying another unx universe with multi-source on the same Oracle 11 connection + CSV/XLS connections…

I’ve added …\win64_x64 and …\win64_x64\jdk\bin to the PATH of Windows
I’ve installed SAP BI 4 SP2 Patch 12.

Is there any connection configuration difference between mono-source and multi-source unx ??

Modification of the post:
It’s working now… after rebooting the server.
The PATH modification seems to be suffficient.

Hi,

We had the same issue and we find another solution.

This solution only work in case of client tools installation on the SIA server.

you have to add:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86”
to the PATH environment variables.

I opened a ticket on SAP support and waiting an answer for this problem.

We are having same issue. We did add the path; reboot, started working fine. BUT next day the error is back ON.
Reboot again, it’s gone.
Next day back again…any solutions??

Have you checked the maintenance tasks that occured on your serveur during the night?
There could be scripts that modify the PATH variable, that modify the Java environment, … and those tasks might be executed by other users with different configurations and rights.
