Guys,
We are using right now BO 3.1 SP2. How to pass the parameters by using open document functionality in 3.1?
In my main report there are two columns region, sales. In detail report corresponding region wise country sales. so if i click on region url , it should display detail report. for this do i need to create any object as region link in the universe.

Hi saaketh,
The easiest way to link a document in XI 3.1 is to use the Hyperlink window in Interactive view mode. It will write the OpenDocument command for you.
Here’s the steps :
Make sure you have Interactive Viewing turned on in the Preferences for WebIntelligence
View (not modify), the main report.
On the cell you want to link from, right click Hyperlink-> New
Select the detail report you want to link to. If you want to pass the value in the link cell, you can choose the parameter this applies to.
You can then set the other properties - refresh on open, new window, tooltips etc
The cell will now contain a hyperlink with an OpenDocument command and you don’t have to worry about all the nasty syntax.
Just remember to save the report in View mode or you’ll lose the hyperlink.

Hey,
It is really appreciated for your suggestion. Now it is working OPENDOC functionality in BO3.1 with out using clumsy syntax. One more small doubt
when i am clicking the hyperlink, it is highlighting that hyperlink. That highlighting part looking permanent ,even after opening the report again.
How to refresh that highlighting part?
