Thanks Werner! This is very useful. Is there any formal release document already that we could read a bit more on?

so we can finally feel like real developers? curious to see this one. hehe

Thanks!

Hmmm. Maybe this is why Composer has been quietly de-emphasized?

I think I’m going to cry!

Pah, that’s modern work of the devil nobody needs. When I do development, the initial version is perfect already.

Well almost.

Okay, okay, never.

Actually, this is working very well, I have used it already. Just rangeselect a few transforms - copy - paste.

Great news, looking forward to working with it. Thanks Werner.

Yes, Win2008 got added to the supported plattforms.

Werner Daehn :de: (BOB member since 2004-12-17)

What about windows 64 bit, can we expect anytime soon??

urk :us: (BOB member since 2005-11-29)

Werner Daehn :de: (BOB member since 2004-12-17)

Not available on SMP yet? Thanks.

hens4th :us: (BOB member since 2009-03-29)

Available now!

If you don’t know how to use SMP, read this: https://wiki.sdn.sap.com:443/wiki/display/BOBJ/How+to+download+a+new+release

License Keys are the same for all 3.x versions.

Make sure you read the release notes prior to installation, there are some notes when DS is installed together with BOE etc.

It is released under the SAP Ramp-Up process, meaning the first few months customers using it will get special attention and need to give their okay for that via a form prior to the download.

Hi Werner,

I can still only see Data Services 3.0 & 3.1 in the download list under

Do you know if it has been released to every customer?

Thanks
Rim

I just figured it is available, but at a different place. You need to go to the SMP -> Download -> Installation and Upgrades, but then select the “RampUp for Installations and Upgrades”.
