10,000 Rows Limit

We have a report that has reached over 10,000 rows. Now we get a partial results message after we refresh. Is 10,000 rows the limit in Business Objects? Could that be changed?

David:

This is a standard setting that can be adjusted in two places.

  1. The Designer application can set this limit as a default, and… 2. The Supervisor application can override this limit for individual users and/or groups of users.

To change the default setting in Designer:

  1. Open the universe
  2. Click on File, then Parameters
  3. Click on the CONTROLS tab
  4. Set the value higher than 10,000… or if you choose, turn it off.

Two places.

Universe Parameters but that affects ANYONE that uses the universe.

Supervisor can change it for an individual user with an individual universe if so desired. I’d suggest that…
