Has anyone ever heard of a behind the scenes, unconfigurable process that runs every day at 1:00am as part of the SIA that cleans-up temporary and other junk files in the BOE environment? Apparently SAP added it a dozen or so years ago?
A vendor is insisting we shouldn’t reboot our server daily because it is interfering with this “clean-up” process and not having this clean-up run daily is causing their system to run slow.
I’ve never heard of this process and have been unable to locate any information or documentation from SAP regarding this. Wondering if anyone has any info?
